Jim Speers – Finance Manager

Jim has over 30 years experience running finance departments in a range of engineering and manufacturing industries, and throughout his career he has been involved in developing finance and accounting processes and packages, and their successful implementation.

Having joined the company in 2003, Jim has helped make Star Instruments Ltd. the successful and profitable company it is today. He continually strives to develop new approaches and processes for business improvement and endeavours to maintain the successful growth and profitability of the company.

Jim has a conscientious disposition, which can be seen throughout his working life, but is also evident in his involvement with the voluntary sector through the Credit Union movement. He is currently a director in his local Credit Union and he finds it very rewarding to see the mutual benefit members gain from this type of financial co-operative.
