Meet the Team

Ciaron Fearon – Operations Director
Ciaron joined Star Instruments Ltd. in 2003 as Manufacturing Manager and due to his commitment, dynamism and effective management, he was promoted to Operations Director in 2008.

His career began at the age of 16 when he completed an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering and he then worked in Facilities Management for almost 20 years before moving into Manufacturing. Prior to joining Star Instruments Ltd. Ciaron was a Facilities Manager within the electronics industry and led a major company to gain ISO 14001, which was one of the first companies in NI to have this accreditation. He is also involved with maintaining our own ISO 9001:2008 quality accreditation.

Ciaron’s dynamic and diligent approach is at the very centre of Star Instruments Ltd. He is involved in strategic direction as well as the daily operation of the company and his focus is on business growth and improvement.

Outside of work his motivated, energetic nature is evident through his pastime of hill walking, which regularly sees him in the local Mountains of Mourne.
